The Longing for Adventure

Some people just know what they were meant to do. Some people can write out detailed plans of their goals and hold on to them strong until they become a reality. There's no other path, and no other passion besides what can make it true. These people have a clarity of mind, a sense of knowing what makes them happy. I like to call these people the enlightened. 

If you're like me, you're on the grueling path to enlightenment. You have interest and skill in so many things, it's hard for you to stay stuck on one. It also comes with a sense of wonder, an imagination of what great possibilities could be out there for you. You can't remain content with where you are right now, but you don't know where you're going either. All you know is what awaits you when you get there: self-realization. 

Until recently, I've found myself trapped in limbo over where I thought I would end up. I knew I had to see the world, but that may just have been caused by being trapped in the desolate wasteland of what is Texas my whole life. I kept inching slowly towards my goal, then one day the jumbled mess of ideas for what I could become started to blend together. I was beginning to see clearly a future where all my dreams could be met, and that was where I needed to be.

I know it will take a lot of work, but if you've been in that situation where things become clear to you, you should know that no amount of work can keep it from happening. I'll be leaving after this summer to experience and document the hippie lifestyle all across the U.S. It might get lonely at times during our travels, but as long as we have support, we can do anything.

It's very important that all of us who are on the path to enlightment stick together, and provide inspiration for each person reaching their goal. If you have any inspiration to share, please comment below!
